Ana Lia Rojas is a distinguished figure in the electrical sector with over 20 years of experience holding high-level executive positions. Her career trajectory reflects her deep commitment to driving innovation, promoting sustainability, and fostering growth in the renewable energy industry. As the Executive Director of the Chilean Renewable Energy and Storage Association (ACERA A.G.), Ana Lia leads a diverse membership of over 150 stakeholders spanning the renewable energy value chain in Chile. Since January 2022, she has been instrumental in advocating for policy initiatives, promoting renewable energy adoption, and advancing storage technologies to drive the industry forward. Prior to her current role, Ana Lia founded her consultancy firm, EnerConnex, where she focused on accelerating decarbonization efforts and addressing market distortions in the electric market. Her consultancy aimed to promote solar distributed generation, storage solutions, and the prosumer model, all aimed at reducing emissions and fostering competition. From 2017 to 2018, Ana Lia served as the Manager of New Business at Grupo Saesa, leading initiatives to implement energy solutions that added value to the company's core business amidst the energy transition. Her strategic leadership contributed to the adoption of new technologies, the development of the prosumer model, and the integration of IoT solutions. Ana Lia's career also includes significant contributions to Siemens Gamesa, where she initiated the company's operations in Chile and closed contracts for the sale of 180MW of wind turbines. Additionally, she led the Chilean subsidiary of Eólica de Navarra from 2009 to 2013, overseeing the development of Chile's first wind farms. With a strong public presence, Ana Lia is a regular panelist on television programs such as "Puente Energético," providing valuable insights into regulatory and renewable energy matters. She is a respected voice in industry seminars, congressional hearings, and media outlets, offering expertise on energy and economic issues. Recognized as one of the 100 leading women in 2021 by El Mercurio and Mujeres Empresarias, Ana Lia Rojas holds a degree in Economics and Commercial Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
