Roberto Cacciola is the President of the Cámara Argentina de Empresas Mineras (CAEM), where he represents the country’s leading mining companies and plays a central role in shaping Argentina’s mining agenda and its positioning within the global mining industry. He is also President of Minera Santa Cruz S.A., a role he has held since 2011, leading the company’s operations and strategic growth within Argentina’s mining sector. Prior to this, he served as Executive Vice President at Compañía Minera Aguilar S.A. and AR Zinc S.A., where he was involved in the management and development of large-scale mining and metallurgical operations. With over two decades of experience in the mining industry, Roberto has developed deep expertise in operations, corporate management, and sector development. His career has been closely linked to the evolution of Argentina’s mining sector, contributing to the consolidation of key projects and the strengthening of industry capabilities. Recognised as one of the leading voices of the mining sector in Argentina, he actively participates in high-level industry discussions, promoting investment, sustainability, and the long-term development of mining as a strategic pillar of the country’s economy.
