CEO - PSJ Cobre Mendocino

Fabián Gregorio is the CEO of PSJ Cobre Mendocino and President of Minera San Jorge, where he leads the development of one of Argentina’s most advanced copper projects. With over two decades of experience in the mining sector, he brings a comprehensive approach focused on sustainability, governance, and local value creation. A lawyer by training from the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, Fabián also holds an MBA from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. Throughout his career, he has worked within international mining companies, building strong expertise across project development, strategic management, and stakeholder engagement. He currently leads the advancement of the PSJ Cobre Mendocino project, located in Uspallata, Mendoza, with the objective of bringing it into production in the near term and contributing to the positioning of Mendoza as a key player in global copper production. Under his leadership, the project has recently obtained its Environmental Impact Declaration and is progressing through pre-construction studies, positioning itself to become the first copper project to enter production in the province of Mendoza. Recognised for his strategic vision and execution capabilities, Fabián plays a key role in driving the development of Argentina’s copper industry and strengthening its integration into global mining markets.
