James Hedalen is Chief Executive Officer of Kobrea and brings over 15 years of experience in the junior mining industry, with a strong focus on financing, operations and corporate development. In his current role, he oversees all aspects of the company’s strategy, including capital raising, operational execution, corporate compliance and investor relations, positioning Kobrea within the evolving global mining landscape. Prior to joining Kobrea, James was part of the corporate development team at Teck Resources, where he gained experience in evaluating growth opportunities, transactions and strategic initiatives within one of the world’s leading mining companies. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Calgary and an MBA in Finance from the University of British Columbia and IE Business School in Madrid. Recognised for his ability to navigate both operational and financial dimensions of the mining sector, James brings a balanced approach to building and advancing junior mining companies in competitive markets.
