Luis Ducassi is a senior executive with extensive experience across public and private sectors, specialising in mining investment, project development, and sustainability in Latin America. He currently serves as Executive Chairman of Jaguar Uranium Corporation, where he leads the company’s strategic direction and growth. Luis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidad del Pacífico (Peru) and an MBA from INSEAD. Earlier in his career, he worked at the World Bank as a financial consultant, focusing on environmental projects across Latin America and later contributing to carbon credit initiatives. He has held key leadership roles in Peru’s mining sector, including Director of Mining at ProInversión, the government agency responsible for structuring and promoting private investment projects, and Director General of Mining Promotion and Sustainability at the Ministry of Energy and Mines. Combining experience in government, multilateral institutions, and the private sector, Luis brings a comprehensive perspective on how mining projects are structured, regulated, and positioned to attract investment, particularly in a context where sustainability and execution are critical.
