Ángel Caviedes Cabezas is a highly accomplished professional with a robust background in engineering, energy management, and innovation. He has over 9 years of experience as the Head of the New Energetic Units/Green Hydrogen at the Ministry of Energy in Chile, where he focuses on cutting-edge fields such as hydrogen, electromobility, digitalization, energy transition, solar technologies, and marine energy. His extensive experience in the energy sector includes serving as an Advisor for the Strategic Solar Program and as a Sectoral Advisor for Energy at CORFO, one of Chile's most prominent development agencies. Ángel holds a Civil Mechanical Engineering degree from the Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María and pursued further education in energy and management, earning an MSc. in Energy Conversion and Management from Hochschule Offenburg. Additionally, he completed a Master’s in Innovation from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and a Master’s in Political Science from the University of Chile. Throughout his career, Ángel Caviedes Cabezas has been dedicated to advancing Chile’s energy landscape, particularly in renewable energies and innovative technologies that support the country’s energy transition and sustainable development.
