Maria Fernands Salerno is an Executive Director at JPMorgan. She currently leads the JPMorgan Payments business for the following Industries in Latin America: Energy, Power, Renewables, Metals & Mining, Diversified (Pulp and Paper, Aerospace and Defence, Chemicals, Transport and Logistics, Industrials) and Automotive. The Payments Business includes Trade & Working Capital, Core Cash Management, Liquidity, FX, Merchant Services and Commercial Cards. Prior to this role, Fernanda had responsibility for Trade Corporate Sales in the Latin American Markets outside of Brazil and Mexico, covering both Local Latam clients and subsidiaries of Global Clients. She is based in São Paulo, Brazil. Fernanda started her career in JPMorgan Buenos Aires, working for Global Emerging Markets, before moving to New York in the Credit Risk team to cover Oil & Gas, Utilities and Petrochemical Companies. After that, Fernanda moved to Barclays in Europe, where she worked in the Corporate Debt Restructuring team, based in Madrid. In JPMorgan Brazil, she covered both Trade and Non-Trade Lending products for Corporate Clients and Financial Institutions in Latin America before moving to her current role. Fernanda speaks fluent Spanish, English and Portuguese. She also speaks French, Italian and German. She holds a Bachelor Degree from Universidad Catolica Argentina and a Master Degree from London School of Economics and Political Science.
