Ana Paula Lima Vieira Bittencourt is a National Treasury Attorney who graduated from the University of Brasília (UnB) with a specialisation in Tax Law and Public Finance. She currently holds the interim position of National Secretary for Geology, Mining and Mineral Transformation at the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) and chairs the Fiscal Council of the Geological Survey of Brazil (SGB). Previously, she was Deputy Secretary for Economic Policy at the Special Secretariat for Legal Affairs (SAJ) of the Presidency of the Republic, Deputy Attorney General and Deputy Attorney General for Tax, Financial and Corporate Consultancy at the Attorney General's Office of the National Treasury (PGFN).
