Leading the carbon finance initiatives in Morocco and spearheading blended finance strategies, I serve as the Program Lead for Article 6 of the Paris Agreement at the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI). With extensive expertise in Carbon Markets, I play a key role in steering the DAPA program (Designing Article 6 Policy Approaches) in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, contributing significantly to global climate action efforts. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a strong commitment to advancing sustainability and fostering innovation. With a focus on Green Hydrogen and Renewable Energy, I contribute to driving the development of sustainable energy solutions tailored to the needs of Morocco. Prior to joining GGGI, I held senior consulting roles specializing in green investment and entrepreneurship at the World Bank Group. My professional experience also includes key positions in reputable private sector organizations such as Total, Sanyo Panasonic, and SPIE, all within the renewable energy sector. My educational background in engineering, with a specialization in electrical engineering, provides a solid foundation for understanding technological solutions for sustainability. I hold a Specialized Master's degree in Renewable Energy and possess a Diploma of Advanced Technological Studies in New Energy Technologies. Additionally, I have refined my leadership skills through an Executive Master program at Ecole Polytechnique Paris and ESSEC Business School. Furthermore, I have conducted significant research in the realm of 100% Green Mines, focusing on hybrid renewable energy systems, green hydrogen, and storage solutions, showcasing my commitment to pioneering environmentally sustainable practices.
